Hey Georgia! its that time again to get ready for the Battle Between the States! Border Wars will be on Sept. 18th this year. Ken will have the flyer posted on the website shortly. Remember its a bring your own doubles tournement, and based on the points earned by the winning teams and which state they represent will determine which state gets to hold on to the trophy until next year. The divisions are Pro, Advanced, Intermediate, and mixed. Get your teams in early as we only have space for 36 teams on the Georgia side. ARE YOU READY TO RUMMMMMBLEEEEE!!!!

I believe we have 18 team spots reserved for a total of 36 players. Let's try to fill our side up early to make it easier on the TD's.

Bad date for Border Wars!! Big "A" tier right next door in Augusta is going to draw quite a few of the good players away. This is the 20th anniversary of the Augusta Classic!! Is there not a better date? ??

Border Wars was on Sept. 5th last year. Unfortunately the date chosen for Border Wars had to fit the schedule of two different TD's since it is a cooperative effort between two states. Add to this the fact that because Disc Golf is starting to become more popular, its only going to become natural that we will have conflicts with other tournements as new courses are being built. Sorry guys this is the best we could do.

Chris, Don't get me wrong. I greatly appreciate you running the GA side of Border Wars. But I worry that turnout won't be good, especially with the better players(and I don't mean me), but I hope I am wrong. And you are getting good at saying this "Add to this the fact that because Disc Golf is starting to become more popular, its only going to become natural that we will have conflicts with other tournements as new courses are being built."

As of today teams are set at 13 each for Georgia and South Carolina, only 5 spots left per state, if you are planning on playing let your perspective TD's know ASAP.
