We finished putting in the back 9 at Apple Mt. today . The front side is open and the back is in the woods . It measures 4422 ft. I think it will be a fun course . I've been talking to the resort mng. about the possibility of having a local tournament there to showcase the course . He seems to be very positive about the idea.It would be nothing major , just an oppertunity to play a new course that you may not ever get to play again .For those that don't like tournaments , you should play this one just because you can . I will be talking to John to figure out the best date. It will be soon though because I don't want the idea to go cold . I will keep you updated to all details .

This course is sweet and solid. The first 5 are very open with the long hole being #5 at 363'. The next 2 play in a tight little woods with a fountain running alongside. #8 is a hyzer shot with the fountain on your right. Holes 9-16 are all wooded with a mix of left, right and straight shots. The woods holes are a great changeup from the open. Some nice elevation also. #17 is a hyzer tunnel shot with #18 finishing up at the putt-putt course. To the right of #18 is the valley of the shadow of death. Don't want to go there. Be ready for your opportunity to play this course. See you soon - John

Hold on, I will need to buy a membership to play this course? Green fees? Private is fine, but don't make it so hard to play. I played a course in California(Emerald Isle), Cost was $9 dollars a round or 15 for all day. We played right along with the ball golfers. That was California, not Georgia! If we could get it to 5 or 6 a round and 10 to 15 all day. If you keep it low cost ( what I have always considered disc golf to be), more will enjoy it.
Maybe have a special rate for disc club members. Bag tag members or web site members...

This course was put in for the resort guests .It is not open to the public - yet . My hope is that when they see the interest the tourney generates they will decide to make it a pay to play course for the public .
